My Miss America Story
For over 100 years, the Miss America Opportunity has provided scholarships and leadership experience for young women across the country. Through its many iterations, Miss America has remained true to the four points of the crown—style, service, scholarship, and success. All local, state, and national titleholders serve their communities through their Community Service Initiatives, causes which they advocate for during their years of service. The most important role of a Miss America titleholder is to connect with her community and serve as a beacon of hope for everyone who meets her.
I have been part of the Miss America Opportunity for 8 years. I initially joined the teen program as a junior in high school for a chance to earn scholarships for college. I ended up falling in love with everything that Miss America stands for, and the rest is history! This year is my third year competing in the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program. I served as Miss Shawnee 2020-2021, where I placed in the Top 10 at states. Last year, I served as Miss Ohio River 2024, and I was honored to have been named First Runner-Up, Preliminary Talent Winner, and the Overall Classical Talent Winner. I am honored to continue serving Appalachian Ohio as Miss Clayland 2025. See you all in Mansfield in June!
